New Rose is finding it a lot easier to see the charming things about my Philly. There's always a full pot of coffee made when I wake up (usually the second or third brewed already). When I grab our old cook books, they fall open to my favorite recipes. There are no sirens, and I can play my music as loud as I'd like without having to worry about up/downstairs neighbors. I have a renewed appreciation for our garbage disposal, and I have a guaranteed running partner (Julie, grudgingly, hasn't said no yet).Edit: The following conversation just went down-
Mom: Do we have any more powdered sugar? I need a third of a cup.
Julie: Yeah, you're fine.
(insert long pause)
Actually, you might want to throw it out. I found three dead bugs in it last night.
